After travelling through SA, NT and then into WA this was the most disappointing accommodation. We had trouble with the booking system and staff were very quick to call back to process payment but it seems that was all they were after. We were here in the offseason (so many spots available) but were told we had to pay in full which we did $210 for 3 nights. After having a conversation with them over the phone about how we had needed to change from off grid accommodation due to the heat and needing a park where we were able to plug in at no stage was it mentioned that the park does cannot have aircons or anything with an element running as it trips the power. We arrived after a long day of driving to the park where it was dusty and very limited shade (nothing like the pics online), the desk was unattended due to reduced hours in the offseason and plastered everywhere on the wall that you cannot run the aircon. Unfortunately, in 40 deg day heat and 29 deg overnight for medical reasons this was not suitable for us. We had to then travel back into town and source alternative park stays and pay additional fees. After contacting Yardie Creek Homestead about our issue there was not response straight away. They then refused any full/partial refund saying we should have read the T&C's that we received in our booking... which we didn't. The email booking had nothing! Regardless, after all our travels throughout AUS this was the ONLY park to not be accomodating or understanding of the situation. Our experience with them was not a good one and we will not attempt stay here again nor recommend them to our friends/ family/ social media followers.…

Great location for a two week or longer stop in Exmouth, being able to access so many beaches and places of interest. Sites are well laid out and large, would only say need extra taps at the water station for 4 sites to share and better drainage here too. Great ablutions, everything clean, lovely pool and the cafe is fabulous. We took our dog which was very easy, big enough park to walk her around in.

Yardie homestead caravan park is a very nice place, with everything needed and incredibly nice and helpful staffs. Nearest to the cape range national park, great nature, walks and ocean. Music live concert in the evening.

This caravan park is in a great spot to Explore the coastline and Ningaloo reef. There are shady trees ne’er most of the camps and good food served from the cafe. The staff were helpful with info about best snorkeling spots and the amenities were good and clean .

Been to Yardie a couple of times, place is more run down since last time. Camp kitchen needs upgrading, top toilet block should be demolished. The Manager is the most rude aggressive person I have ever come across in a caravan park. Witnessed him yelling and abusing an elderly man. Shame, such a great spot.

I booked a site and paid a deposit six months ahead of our visit to the Ningaloo Coast, staying at the Yardie Homestead park. I recommend you do book early if you want to stay here. It was very busy when we were there. Despite our early booking, I was disappointed with where our site was located in the park. Our dusty site was adjacent to the busy dump point and the tour bus camping area which put the ablutions near us under considerable pressure despite the staff's best efforts. Friends who arrived on the same day (and had booked well after us) were placed on a shady, quiet site away with longer duration stays so it was quieter. People who's stay was of shorter duration than ours moved in and out from their location over the course of our stay. I simply don't understand how site allocation is determined. Is it the size or age of our van? Is it simply an on the day decision by the person at the front desk? How do other people deal with the situation of an second rate site allocation? The Yardie Homestead Caravan Park is ideally located for exploration of this side of the NW Cape and for shopping in Exmouth. The facilities seem stretched at busy times of the year but are generally well maintained and there's obvious pride in the business. i'll be careful to find out where my site is if a return visit eventuates. I recommend you do the same. …

Hi fellow travelers! 1/10 do not recommend - This place is the pits. it's rundown - facilities are not clean, the staff range from barely indifferent to impolite. Good luck trying to get them on the phone. We've paid $70 a night for a powered site - but we're told at check-in that we are unable to run anything that draws too much power - no kettles, coffee machines, aircons, heaters, toaster. We used none of these and still woke up with no power this morning. I was also told by maintenance staff that the drains at the sites are in fact not drains and that we are not allowed to use our washing machine either. For those of us that are travelling long term we all know how sacred the few days in a caravan park are - washing is done, batch cooking is done, the whistling kettle goes away and the showers can occur daily. Everyone and everything is clean once again. Well not here! This would be fine if we were told when we booked and paid, or if we were not paying top dollar. We are pretty cranky at this point - honestly, if this place wasn't right next to the reef or surf, I am pretty sure there would be absolutely no reason to stay here at all. If we had our time again, we would stay at one of the national park sites or book a park Exmouth. …

The location is great but the facilities are in need of an update. Some staff were rude and not helpful at all. On the upside the Cafe staff were lovely and the food was pretty good The pool was nice and was good to cool down Wouldn’t stay there again

Great caravan park. Large sites and great facilities. Amenities are old but clean, great little cafe, and pool. The location to the NP makes this the best place to stay whilst in Exmouth. About 25 mins outside Exmouth. The beaches right along the cost south of Yardie are some of the best beaches in Auss. Great snorkelling and swimming. Don't stay in Exmouth. This is much better. Lovely place. Great location. Too many people. Busy time of the year but crammed In and noisy at night. Small sites. Probably need more ablutions for the amount of people. Ablutions need to be cleaned more often. Not the parks fault people are disrespectful and leave them in a mess though. Friendly reception staff. Great cafe.
