We arrived fairly late in the afternoon and we met by Barbara - the lovely, generous and hospitable owner. She brought around all the breakfast fixings for the next morning just as soon as we'd settled in. The property goes right down to the river and it is very beautiful. There are lots of bird feeding places so there are... More

Spent 2 very comfortable nights in this beautiful accommodation in a rural beauty spot. Loved the peaceful surroundings, the parrots and other birds flying into feed and the gardens to relax in. Most welcoming hosts who did everything you could want to make your stay special. No wifi but luckily my access requirement was satisfied foc in a local eatery... More

We had planned to only stay one night but after being there only a short time we had decided to stay another night. On our arrival we were met by Barbara who gave us a warm country welcome. The room was large, clean, the king size bed firm and very comfortable. We were provided with everything required to have a... More

We had a lovely time at tweed lodge. There were 8 couples, even though it was hot. Some of our friends had brought along Kiaks and were exploring the river. We would all gather on the main decking in the evening for a few drinks and chat. Our caretaker Barbara was very good to us and organised our new years... More

Tweed Valley Lodge is a good 5 minute drive from the main town. We arrive in Bridgetown on a Saturday afternoon and there was nothing happening in town and not a lot of shops open. There are a few pubs, an IGA and a few coffee shops. The town of Bridgetown has some beautiful family parks which are wonderful. The... More

From Ian & Lyn. Bridgetown is a superb small town, and central to beautiful surrounding towns and countryside with great walking trails. We stayed at Tweed Valley Lodge B&B for a week in October 2012, touring the area to see and photograph birds and the spring wild flowers, and they were stunning. The Lodge provides every comfort with absolute tranquility.... More

Tweed Valley Lodge is a little bit of Paradise in the South West of Western Australia. It islocated on the banks of the Blackwood River only 2 klms from the centre of historic Bridgetown in a peaceful natural bush setting. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and roomy and they have private balconies and great views of the river. Each afternoon... More

Tweed Valley Lodge has released me from a 12 year writer's block. This place is magical. It nourishes the body and soul. The gardens are beautiful and the birds delightful to watch. Barbara's hospitality is warm and comforting. Tucked away in beautiful surrounds (a mix of bushland and formal gardens), yet close enough to the town centre, the premises are... More

We stayed at the Tweed Valley Lodge for a night while driving the tourist route through the south west. Our first impression was that the owners were lovely and the chalet nicely tucked away in a quiet location that is still close enough to Bridgetown to take a 2 minute drive to find a restaurant for dinner. The rooms are... More
