I have no idea how the previous negative reviews can be justified. Tony greeted us within a warm and friendly manner upon arrival. He was helpful and courteous and greeted us on a first name basis whenever we dropped by. The customer service was 5 star. My wish to visit the Stirling Ranges to experience 'true' nature away from that other world came true. Everything we could need, not want, was there for the taking. We visited this area during a bird-photo drive from Perth to Albany and around. Together with the wonderful town of Pemberton, Stirling Range Retreat were the hit highlights of the trip... great birds and great chances for photography. We really wanted to spend time in the Stirling Range area, we called in and went to the reception to be greated with someone better suited to running a local town hall.
