This was a lovely experience. We arrived by train for our short break in Castlemaine and The Midland was directly opposite the station. It is a magnificent old two story, balconied corner hotel from 1879 that has never been a pub. “A Very Unique Hotel”

We stayed for two nights at the Midland Castlemaine during Easter 2012. Mauro our host made us feel very welcome with his lay back friendly demeanour.
