My partner and I (late 20's) stayed at the Kefalonia Bay Palace (KPB) in September 2011 and really enjoyed our stay. Arriving at the end of the season we had very quiet hotel almost to ourselves, so alot of the time had the wonderful hotel pool for our sole enjoyment! Agia Efimia itself is a lovely little resort, with plenty... More

This was the first time we stayed at Kefalonia Bay Palace. What can i say. The accommodation is second to none, everything you could possibly want to find in a room is there and the sizes of the rooms are amazing. I have recommended this hotel to many friends of ours and i feel anyone who likes quality accommodation, fantastic... More

We stayed at the hotel in September 2011. As a couple in our early 20s this was a perfect hotel. We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa which overlooked the sea. Whilst the room itself was very basic (bed, shower room, fridge etc) the pool and views made up for it. The breakfast was nice with a selection of hot... More

Kefalonia is simply one of the most peaceful and beautiful islands in Europe. If you are after incredible service, impecable facilities and a level of relaxation second to none, the Kefalonia Bay Palace should be first on your list of choices. The view alone from this elevated resort is simply breathtaking and it's location is equidistant to all attractions the... More

This is a newish hotel, built on the hillside at the end of a seaside road on the outskirts of the small harbour of Agia Efimia. At the end of September, it was quiet and peaceful, so it may well be more lively in the high season. We were prepared for climbing lots of steps, having read previous reviews, as... More

We visited the island of Kefalonia in Sept. 2011. Kefalonia Bay Palace is a newly built hotel with a marvellous view to the see. Our room had the best view ,311. Our experience there was unique. I have to mention that the rooms were cleaned every day! Our dinner was delicious and more than adequate! We even met the owners.... More

Yep, that's how many steps we had top climb from the road to our room every day!. We love Agia Efimia and wanted to try the Bay Palace as we had seen it being built over the past few years but nothing prepared us for the climb every day. On the positive side. Rooms were bright and well furnished with... More

I don't want to sound like I'm just basking in the holiday afterglow here - every word is true..... From the moment of our arrival at Kefalonia Bay Palace, for our first anniversary (and much-belated honeymoon), my wife and I were made to feel as if nothing was too much trouble for the staff and management. Fluffy bathrobes and fresh... More

As so many other reviews have already mentioned the walks from pool level up to the rooms is extremely difficult if you are not super fit. It is a real struggle. The rooms are reasonably spacious for two people but a bit of a struggle for three. Balcony and Bathrooms are a nice size and lovely hot water for bath... More

Very hard beds!!! Problems with plumbing, it stank sewage in the buttom floor units. Very high steps, I should have believed the reviews before booking the room. Our car couldn't get up the driveway, very speep!!! No staff, no bartender, milkshake for kids , beer and all other drinks are crazy expansive - $ 12 each. It would be ok... More
