We spent 3 nights here - and there are some real positives. There are three apartments - true apartments with ample space, large and good bathroom; kitchen. Top floor has great skylights. Proprietor is a fine fellow who greeted us with a glass of his wine - he makes very few bottles a year. The fridge is stocked and the... More

We had a very good stay at the Logis du Roy in October 2011. Very well placed in the centre of St Emilion village within a short walk of all the facilities. The rooms we hired provided a spacious living room / kitchen, a bathroom, a main bedroom and a small twin bed area on a converted mezanine space. The... More

Trip advisor reviews led us to this set of rooms and once again reviews were correct. Not plush surroundings but above average and very comfortable. It's basically an apartment for the price of a hotel room and then a bit more. The personal service from Pierre the owner made us feel right at home. Breakfast brought fresh to us every... More

Don’t expect polished interiors, fancy furnishings, soft lighting etc. Do expect ancient bare limestone walls, completely unadorned – furnished with mostly wheat coloured tones that give the entire place a natural feel. The furnishing are comfortable but a little dated and twee. The apartments, not rooms, are huge – and perfect if you want somewhere to chill after a long... More

If you want charming and well appointed apartment accommodation, this is the place. If you want a standard hotel experience - book a hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in June. We had the 1st floor apartment (Up 1 flight of stairs). It was spacious, comfortable, clean, with the bonus of a clothes washer/dryer (deciphering the instructions with little knowledge... More

Not simply a hotel room but a whole apartment! We stayed in their Magnum suite. It has a living room, bedroom, dining area, kitchen with portable oven, two-burner stove, refrigerator and dishwasher! Also dishes, plates, glasses, etc. I had emailed in advance and been told it was air-conditioned, which it was not. The large fan in the outer room was... More

We stayed in the first floor apartment of this wonderful old building. It was spacious and nicely furnished with a very comfortable king size bed (unusual in Europe). As previous reviewers have noted, bread and croissants were left on the doorstep each morning and orange juice and other breakfast ingredients were provided in the fridge. The location is perfect -... More

This accomodation was everything my husband and I could have hoped for during our three day stay in beautiful Saint-Emilion. This warm and tastefully appointed apartment offers a living and dining area, a kitchenette, bedroom (we thought the bed was very comfortable contrary to one of the other reviews here), and a nicely tiled bathroom with great shower. What's more:... More

My husband and I stayed in the room on the lowest level and my parents stayed in the room above that. In general we found it very adequate to our needs and it definitely had charm. Cons: Beds were a little hard, but this wasn't a major problem. My mother found the kitchen on the small side the lower room... More

Durting our 4 week trip to France and Italy, Les Logis du Roy was the largest, cleanest and best place we stayed, which says a lot as we stayed only in 4 and 5 star hotels. Pierre, the owner, also owns the shop next door. St Emillion is a small village and Les Logis is on the main street. (since... More
