We stayed here before going to Islas Ballestas and onto Huacachina. It's a very nice and charming place, unaffected by the earthquake. This hostel is like on oasis in a still devastated town. “Nice hotel with a monastery theme”

The Hostal de Monasteria is a little hotel, sister to the bigger Posada Hispana. It is a nice colourful building with a 'monastery' theme. What I liked: 1. Decent service 2. Good breakfast 3. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms 4. No noise 5. Safe What I disliked: 1. Front desk spoke very little english
