It was a budget inn in every sense of the word. Clean basic room. No frills. If you are looking for anything else you will be disappointed here. The staff were very friendly, the street though is very noisy with a lot of heavy truck traffic throughout the night. Make sure you pack your earplugs. More

This is a nice, clean, family run motel located across the street from a supermarket, drugstore, and liquor store. There is a family restaurant a block away and the Watkins Glen business district is only 3/4 mile down the road. There is free wired internet service in the room, and wi-fi internet in the newly renovated annex across the street. More

We looked at 3 other motels. Budget was newest of 3, cleanest and priced @ $78. Colonial was clean but older @$85, Glen Way Motel very old $69. All about 10 blocks apart. More

Pros: friendly, more reasonable for this area ($75-85), clean, very good mattresses Cons: no HBO or refrig in many rooms, some rooms incredibly small, no clothes pole to hang clothes, no wifi, almost no vanity space in bathroom, shower light/fan extremely noisy. This is fine basic motel. It is clean and comfortable. Our room had a refrigerator and a microwave. Close to everything, although it is on the main road and the traffic can be noisy. More
