This place is clean, but way outdated. It was less expensive than other places in the area, buy I think it's overpriced for what it is. If you want clean place to stay, then its not a bad spot, has a nice view. It's not sexy...at all.

We stayed at the Longhouse during the Grand Prixe Festival... had a great time.. Our room was tastefully appointed...bed comfortable(sooo important!) ...Breakfast just enough...strongly recommend this motel..very reasonable...very nice

It's such a shame that the owner of this establishment, Jim Franzese, missed the classes on Hospitality Management in college. Two rooms were booked. One had a very strong BO odor (like a two week old sub sandwich with extra onions). We requested another room and were denied. This motel is certainly better than what we expected. It is well-maintained. Even though it is close to the road it is quiet inside. We did have a good sleep! The gazebo is a nice place for breakfast during this time of the year. Terry is wonderful. Jerlanda's restaurant she recommended is a great place to eat.

It's a pretty good motel, good location, clean, lovely kiddie pool, close to the lake. For my opinion, it's a little pricy for a motel, maybe it's due to the area factor.
