Had 3 great days at Jimbiza Lodge, during rain/low season. We were the only guest at the lodge at that time. Great staff, good food, nice room and great sunset view from the bonfire after a days safari. As it was rainy season we had the extra experience of being stuck in the safari park when the landrover got caught... More

The 2 days of drive safari was som exciting and fantastic to see all the wild animals. Thanks to Adam, Andrew, Rose (for excellent coooking) and especially our guide Amina Rutta for a... More

The rooms were basic could do with a splash of paint,... More

We had a great time staying at Jimbiza Lodge. From the dining room and the bar one has a great view over the river especially for sunset. The tent is very large and comfortable, there's even warm water in the shower, but unfortunately the are no mosquito nets. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, only if... More

I'm a university student from Sweden, studying tourism. I've been on an internship for a month in Jimbiza Lodge in Selous. After spending that much time in the lodge, I definitely got a thorough look at what it's all about. It was a very delightful experience and I really recommend anyone who wants to go on a great safari trip... More

This is now my second stay at Jimbiza and once again, it was great!! The atmosphere is authentic and "out in the savannah"-like. Food is plentiful and always nice, staff are kind and helpful and everything is clean. Ask to sleep in the "tents", as these are hotelsized anyway with full-fledged bathroom/shower but just way more safari-themed than typical lodge... More

I have been lucky enough to revisit this Lodge on a number of occasions. Each one at a different time of the year but the final visit in November was the best in terms of animal sighted on the game drives. This included the rarely seen wild dogs, The lodge is small and extremely well positioned on the river with... More
