The staff is enthousiastic, but that is about the only good news from this place. Our room had dirty carpets on the floor and the room was not cleaned during the day. The bathroom was big, but the sink was tiny and there were no hooks on the wall: no place to put your stuff or towel. Breakfast was very... More

We arrived on a chilly morning on our way to see the Kasbah. There was no hard sell, the hosts were super friendly ensuring we had heat in our rooms, a fire in the empty restaurant and even hot chocolate. We felt very welcome and comfortable and at a quarter the low season price of the Kasbah. I would highly... More

Riad Imlil has in the village of Imlil, right at the start of many walks in the High Atlas. A great location for walking holidays. It is a lovely place to stay, thick stone walls, hidden courtyards and terraces looking out over the mountains and river. Staff are lovely and food is great too. Can be chilly at night so... More

We dipped into Riad Imlil on our first day in Imlil - partly to get away from a pushy guy who accosted us on the street offering accommodation in his house. The place was clean and pleasant and the 300 dirham per room rate was excellent. It also had a nice restaurant - ideal! But When we went to eat... More

Attracted by the Kasbah du Toubkal we arrived in Imlil. A small village in a stunning area. We didn't have any reviews of the hotels in Imlil and by accident arrived in Riad Imlil. We had lunch there on the roof terrace which has a stunning view on the mountains. The food was good and we decided to stay. The... More

This is a lovely riad option, a myriad of rooms, but far easier access and far cheaper than the rather inaccessible Kasbah Toubkal. Food was pretty good, breakfasts as with most in Morocco are pretty limited, but overall a good clean place to stay and a good base for trekking.

I just got back from Morocoo and stayed at this place whilst trekking to Toubkal. It has a very nice feel to it with a myriad of terraces and about 20 rooms which were about 50 Euro for a double. The manager Rashied was very helpful and spoke some English but was ably assisted Mohammad who owns a shop directly... More

During our recent trip to Morocco, we wanted to do a bit of trekking in the High Atlas. The options to stay in Imlil seemed a bit limited and dominated by the presence of Kasbah Toubkal and Dar Imlil. We stumbled across this place but could find no reviews anywhere. I am glad we gave it a go. The riad... More
