It was a great way to start off our Atlas trek... Although the Berber omelette made me sick that night. Very cute, the Djellabas for guest use were a nice touch. The little library and free wifi were a nice touch.

Riad Dar Imlil was a delightful retreat - very calming and beautiful. Although we went in winter it was still warm in the daytime and amazing views from every window.
Meals were large, very tasty and meal service was wonderful.
The room was well appointed, with a good shower, beautiful tiles and ceiling, and complementary coffee/tea/biscuits.
The only downside was...

What a lovely surprise we had when we reached Riad Dar Imlil after our 5 day trek in the High Atlas - such bliss, a proper bed, a bath, a WC and lots of hot water - what more could we want. We had spent 5 days walking and wild camping on our way to highest peak in Morocco -...

we chose Riad Dar Imlil as our mountain accommodation for part of a honeymoon travelling around Morocco. We'd taken note of the mixed reviews but were pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the loveliness of the area in general. This isn't a luxury retreat by any means, but the rooms are well furnished, and the evening meal is simple but...

Dar Imlil has a lovely location on the river and away from the steep streets of Imlil itself. Our room was nice and I think the shower ranked as the best we have had in months - lots of strong, hot water and no bathroom flooding. However, the room was extremely dark and not nearly as grand as photos we...

Two warnings: We booked the Dar on Expedia and then were told by the Dar that they did not have a reservation for us. It appears that they had bumped us without notice in order to accommodate a tour group. After Expedia intervened, they honored the reservation. Whe we checked out, they presented us a bill for substantially more than...

We didnot know what to expect from Imlil, the only thing we knew it is in the high mountains. But this was a surprise. The arrivel was very welcome, as was all of our stay! We had - with our friends - the second floor. Two very big rooms, both with two balconies with beautiful views, nice chairs on the...

We stayed here after staying in a gorgeous, gorgeous Riad in Marrakesh so the place had a lot to live up to. It's cosy and warm with remarkably good staff. Great food, especially breakfast. Hassan organised everything to perfection. Hot water bottles in the bed when you returned to your room at night was just one example of the attention...

I have to say, the location of the Riad is great and the deluxe room where we stayed on the upper floor was lovely with great views from two balconies. We were the only guests at the Riad which was a bit disconcerting upon arrival, however our worries were soon quashed by Hassan and the staff.
The staff were excellent...
