We went to meet an internationally ranked pool player and get a lesson from her for my husband's Christmas present. (Turning Stone hosted a pool tournament.) We did not go to gamble (and for others that don't, limited shopping and "inside" activities). We stayed for one night in a luxury suite with a livingroom, bath and a half, fireplace, wet... More

The property was peaceful, well maintained and offered all the amenities a person could need for a relaxing weekend. The pool was beautiful, golf course was one of the best I have seen in the U.S. The room(228) was spacious, huge soaking tub, great view from balcony, and on time turndown service every night. My only real issue was my... More

My husband and I stayed in the Lodge and golfed 2 of the three courses. The lodge is lovely, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant, Wildflowers, was sub-standard. Flat, more like a crepe, pancakes and insipid waffles were served at breakfast. The staff are polite but service was quite slow both mornings we had breakfast in the... More

We discovered this resort through AAA 4-diamond ratings directory, and must say the level of service, comfort and tennis facilities exceeded our expectations. The resort is divided into adjoining properties catering to various needs. We would highly recommend The Lodge (this is the property rated 4-diamond by AAA), perfect if you are looking for some tranquility combined with tennis and... More

from the moment we pulled in and were met by the valet. to the time we checked out we were treated like a king and queen by every member of the staff. they went out of their way to say hello, ask if we needed anything, offer assistance. the entire staff were the best I have ever seen. The suite... More

We decided to get away for the long July 4th weekend for some golf and pampering, but we didn't want the hassle of flying so we decided to drive the four hours to Verona,NY. Because we don't gamble, going to a casino resort was never high on our list, but after reading some of the reviews we thought we would... More

Staff was great, room was superb, restaurant’s and spa were very nice too. If you have to be in NY and want a nice get-a-way this is it. Only issue was the railing on the balcony was rotting away from the snow and rain. It could be a safety issue for children or drunk adults... :) More

My husband surprised me with a weekend stay here for our anniversary. We have stayed here once before for business and we really loved it the first time. As usual, the service was really good. We were running late for a spa appointment and the bell hop was nice enough to drop off our bags in our room without us.... More

My husband and I had a business meeting at The Lodge at Turning Stone last week. We live outside Buffalo and it took exactly two hours to get there via the NYS Thruway. The resort is minutes from the exit, which makes it a cinch to find. We were told that The Lodge was "the place" to stay at the... More

The Lodge came highly recommended to me by some local members of industry and the short drive to Rome each morning was well worth the effort. The Good • All members of staff and management performed their job flawlessly though a few did have some issues understanding my broad Australian accent ;-) • The suite was excellent and fully catered...
