Hotel Skyler has great customer service and it is a truly beautiful hotel. The lobby is bright and welcoming, everyone greets you when you walk through the door. Our room was incredible. It was simple and understated, but spacious and sparkling clean. All of the furniture, even the desk chair, was incredibly comfortable. The king size bed had to be... More

Hotel Skyler has received many awards for its ecologically sensitive renovations. The hotel staff was helpful, the rooms were comfortable, well controlled temperatures in the room, and everything was new. They have a wonderful bar and sitting area in the lobby with a fireplace, with reasonably priced drinks, coffees, and wines. They do not have a restaurant, but their sister... More

Let me start by saying this hotel is lovely. It is well appointed, tastfully decorated and very clean! Susan, at the bar, was polite and helpful. The reception staff was helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. And I love that it's a LEED certified hotel! What I didn't love was the noise. This was perhaps the... More

The renovation of this building and its conversion to a hotel is outstanding ~~ fun, tasteful, lovely, historic.... Well done!!! I'm so happy there's a hip LEED hotel to cozy down in. Comfy bed & lounge chair. Desk comfortable to work at. Would've liked a restaurant on the premises, but the selection of snacks available is so good as to... More

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights -- we were planning just one, but it was so nice, we decided to stay another night. The rooms were beautifully decorated -- high ceilings, airy, spacious, and light-filled. The bathrooms felt very luxurious, with a lovely shower. The bed was SO comfortable! The bar and lobby were comfortable and inviting.... More

If you have a student at SU this is a fabulous place to stay. It is only 2 blocks from Marshall St, the heart of campus. It is contemporary and comfortable, and I liked the focus on positive environmental impact both in the building renovation and it's on-going operations. The beds were very comfortable, room lighting was well designed, bathrooms... More

Beautiful hotel revived from a former Synagogue. Being a Leeds Certified hotel means, "Optimized energy performance, ecologically sound materials, and a reduced carbon footprint combine to create a healthful and sustainable environment." Everything inside is sustainable or recycled. You must insert your room key into the wall for the electricity to turn on. It's a really special hotel in the... More

This place was really wonderful. It is close to Marshall Street which is the area where all the Syracuse University kids frequent. I LOVE the fact that it is LEED approved. It has nice rooms, very nice restaurants close by, and it's just an all around great find. It has a sister hotel that is close by too. Stay here!... More
