We stayed for 3 nights in Sept and found it to be an ideal location with a lovely bright airy room. Although it was a like a chalet lay out , the facilities were great and the staff were exceptionally helpful and obliging even after we had checked out . The mile walk to Coopers Beach was a little underestimated... More

The accommodations are very basic. The “inn” is actually a variation of a motor lodge motel with room access from the exterior parking area. We stayed there in the off-season of late October. The room rate for Saturday night was $299.00 and $199.00 for Sunday night. The rates are exclusive of taxes which add another +/- 11.5% to the bill.... More

Email me if you want more details. Here is the basics: Had our wedding here. During that time the food manager AND event manager were replaced as well as the chef. We had a written and signed contract from day 1 which stipulated the type of reception, times, and arrangements. 10 days before the wedding we received a call from Amare(the... More

I'm a businessman from upstate New York. In the 80s I built a national chain flagged, limited service hotel and then owned and operated it for over 20 years. Our hotel management and staff consistently received high marks for service and housekeeping from the chain (well-deserved in my opinion). So, while no expert, I know something about the buisness and... More

I don’t know where to start, let’s call a turd a turd this is not an inn it is a motel, a very-very badly run motel the front desk staff is mostly comprised of teenagers that are untrained surly and have no desire to please. The rooms are set up like a by the hour motel the bedding is old... More

We are a married couple who stayed at the Southampton Inn for four nights at the beginning of September. Although I agree with some posters that the way the Inn is described on their website is a bit misleading ("Gracious" is not a word I would use to describe the Inn), the Southampton Inn is a perfectly nice place to... The South Hampton Inn is nothing special at all. It was very expensive for what you are getting. The stairwell up to our room was poorly lit and worn out. The bed was comfortable but the room was very plain and not any more then any motel on the side of a highway. The bathroom is very tiny and two... More

We drove up yesterday for a private function and thought the same thing as another reviewer...this can't be the inn that's featured in the website pictures. And $300 shouldve bought us more than just a good location in town! Our King room was up private stairs in back corner of the inn next to the maintenance closet, which made for... More

My heart sank as we pulled into the parking lot and found a modified motel instead of the charming inn that it appears on the website. Had we not already paid upfront through Hotels.com, I would have definitely turned around and tried the quaint-looking place next door, just because I had my mind set on a place with some local... Great service and value! We were there for a week and had a positive experience. The staff was so helpful in changing rooms three times due to parking lot views....(especially Dawn K.) The drivers to the beach were accomodating and drove us outside of the designated times. The only negative is the restaurant...poor service and terrible dinner atmosphere...don't dine at... More
