We live just 30 miles from Skaneateles, but wanted a quick winter getaway. Lovely suite with a fireplace and double jacuzzi overlooking the lake. We'd intended to visit other favorite eateries, such as Rosalie's Cucina, but we never left the inn. Good food, great atmosphere and pub.

Beautiful historic building overlooking the lake and quaint town. Our room was clean and comfortable with a gas fireplace, whirlpool tub and gorgeous furnishings. On one of the coldest days of the year we stayed at the Sherwood Inn. The room was warm and cozy and beautiful. The view was gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a delicious dinner in their restaurant and a great free breakfast. Don't miss this one.!
