This was our first stay at a B & B, at first we felt awkward, but the owners of the B & B made us feel very comfortable. The B & B was a 30 second walk to the lake and 2 minute walk into the heart of Skaneateles Main St. The B & B was like taking a walk... More

Beautiful place - convenient location - delicious breakfasts - wonderful hospitality. Sandy gave us excellent tips on places to visit and made us feel at home immediately. Our room was beautiful as well as comfortable. Will definitely keep it on our list for return visits, More

Perfectly located directly across from the lake, this a charming Victorian home converted to a comfortable B & B. The rooms are well appointed with furnishings from the period, spacious and clean. Sandy, our host, couldn't have been more welcoming and shared her lovely home with us.. She suggested and made our dinner reservations at some lovely area restaurants. Breakfasts... More

My wife & I aren't B & B people, so we didn't know what to expect. What we found at the L of the L was sophisticated hospitality, turn of the (last) century charm, a dazzling town with to-die-for views wherever you happened to turn your head, an abundance of great restaurants of every variety, & a rare peacefulness that's... My husband and I had a romantic stay at the Lady of the Lake Bed and Breakfast. It was a perfect get away. The propietors were wonderfully attentive to every detail, while still allowing us privacy to relax. The Victorian home is just lovely....as is the view of the lake and town from the front porch. It is within walking... More

Bear in mind that this is a review and is not written to be negative or postive at all, just the facts! This was booked as a birthday gift for my wife and thus I had specific things that I had in mind. The first priority when selecting a B&B for this location (Skaneateles) was a claws foot bath tub.... If all bed & breakast's were as good as Lady of the Lake, hotels would be out of business! Sandy and Barry were gracious hosts and our room (The Stella) was perfect. More

We travelled around on this holiday, so stayed at a few places making it easy to compare. This accommodation is where we had the best French Toast - melt in the mouth, having been soaked in Grand Marnier. The B&B seems to be run single-handed by a very able hostess, who has thought of all the travellers' needs. A sit... More

This B&B is a beautiful old victorian house with three rooms available. The whole house is full of beautiful antiques and beautifully decorated. Beds are comfortable and rooms all have wonderful little touches. Breakfast was scrumptious! Sandy, Barry and Chelsea (the dog) are personable and very helpful and friendly. More

Absolutely charming, impeccably maintained lush inn run by an absolutely charming, attractive innkeeper. Fantastic location across the street from the lake & a park. It's basically right downtown so you can walk to everything and this is a walking town, filled with people strolling and dogs being walked. Which brings me to my next point. We brought our two dogs... More
