While the Adelphi continually oozes it's interesting history it provides most of today's needed amenities including free WiFi, A/C, phone, etc. etc. There are no ice machines in the halls but request it and the bellman will deliver on a tray with glasses in an ice bucket that is insulated and actually works. There is only one parking spot for loading and unloading and the local area parking is a 2 hour maximum., unless you find a lot- a few blocks away for overnight. Loved the hotel. Stopped in by chance and glad we stayed the night. The floors are creaky, the design is wacky/antique but that's the fun. Only complaint was the bar service was slow and the drinks were weak and not very well made. Have drinks next door - much better! The fruit they put out was old as well. More
