This hotel is only 8 miles from Watertown and is in the loveliest historic town situated on Lake Ontario. The hotel is in very easy walking distance to the marina, small shops and a variety of great restaurants and pubs. The room was roomy and very comfortable, The beds were excellent. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful as well,... More

This is a very good small hotel. My wife is very particular about cleanliness and this passes her test. We have a room with couches overlooking harbor. Outstranding views. We found the staff solid to very good- no issues there. I would agree with the other posts that they could do a little more for breakfast, but it is fine... More

The hotel was clean and very convenient for town and the few places to eat and drink. No complaints about the room though I thought it was a little pricey for what it was. The breakfast was very disappointing and frankly Naff. The town is great and highly recommended, and though it was pretty much peak season it was quiet. More

This is our 3rd time in the past 5 years to Sackets Harbour, we enjoy this historical battlefield and its surrounding restaurants & the local brewery. We were very impressed by the room renovations and the comfort that it provides. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The only suggestions would be to improve on the complimentary breakfast, to add... More

I stayed there for a week and was rather impressed with the hotel. It was small but very clean. The hotel rooms were clean and the beds are very comfortable. The people at the front desk were all friendly and more then willing to help you out with suggestions on places to eat and see. The only issue I had... More

We stayed in one of the Traveler's Staterooms with the "Night on the Town" package (came with $50 in vouchers for dinner & stand-up comedy). Our first impression wasn't great, as the woman at the front desk was rather sour and curt. She claimed that we hadn't booked the package, and that there wasn't even a comedy show on that... More

Glad we stayed here and not Alex Bay for our short vacation. Easy to walk to sights and restaurants. Easy to interface with the hotel staff. Wi-fi works fine. One word of caution: if you have T-Mobile for cell service, there isn't any around the hotel much less the Sackets Harbor area. Coverage is spotty at best. You have to... More

Stayed at the Ontario Place Hotel the weekend before my son deployed. The room was newly renovated. The Hotel is located right in the heart of town. The staff was warm and friendly. Tea and coffee available all day. The rate was amazingly low considering you can see the lake from the window. It was a great stay. Would definately... More

We booked back in January for a room for two adults and two children; did not feel initially made welcome by receptionist and were given a key to a room with one king-size bed and no apparent other sleeping arrangement. Receptionist insisted that was what we had booked (there was a single bed-settee as well) and could not say where... More

This is the second time we stayed here. We enjoyed it very much. Restaurants and the harbor at your doorstep. Our ground floor King room was spacious and included a dog bowl and dog treats. Rooms are not plush but bed and furnishings were very comfortable. Room is a little dark because only one large window but we didn't spend... More
