With all reservations that are booked at the discounted advanced purchase rate it is clearly stated that the reservation cannot be cancelled or refunded. We do care, however, we cannot change the policy because as you wrote: your company "booked it that way without me knowing."

The hotel is "as expected" for a Holiday Inn, but there's a restaurant and bar on site, and the bar staff do work really hard when it's busy on the weekends.

A reasonable value when needing to stay mid-Island. Great diner across the street. Bed was a little worn, but I'm sure I could've asked for a different room. My parent's room was fine. Free Internet - - no problems accessing. Nice to have a mini-fridge and microwave in the room.

It isn't the quietest hotel. A previous reviewers have mentioned, it is a dated, maze-like hotel. The fridge and microwave looked like they were scavenged from Goodwill and just plugged into the room. The fixtures are pretty dated, but they do have free hbo. I thought it was pricey for the room.
