I expected....a Holiday Inn Express. Well, it sure didn't feel like one...or shall I say....HIE has come a long way since they first begun. They used to be hit or miss,....now..they seem more and more like what a Hampton Inn has strived to be. A very comfortable, professional, affordable, and enlightening overnight stay.

Staff was friendly, and breakfast was good for an Express, but the room was very dated and furnishings pretty beat up. Room seemed clean, but stained grout in bathroom and cracks in refrigerator were disappointing.

This hotel is just down the road from numerous restaurants and shops. It is close to the highway. It was clean and bright. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good.

Nice location, a quick trip to Vassar through the neighborhood behind. Rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was actually open for a decent amount of time with the standard Express offerings, but the area was clean and the bar was well stocked. This is what the the Express brand is supposed to be. A great representative of their vision.
