the B&B is a 19th c farmhouse, not grand architecturally or exceptionally furnished. The setting makes the places in open farm country. there are chickens wandering around the grounds, an endless array of dogs and cats (two caps slept on our bed the 2nd night) and a hilariously urbane 10-year old daughter of the owners who regaled us at breakfast... We stayed at the Glenwood House as a birthday surprise for my guy, and we were instantly welcomed and received a free upgrade to a special room, just as a nice gesture from the proprieter, since she and Craig had birthdays within the same month. Everything was gorgeous, from the way the house was styled and its amenities, to the... More

Glenwood House needs a major clean up. From the cobwebs all over the exterior, the dirty seat cushions on the porch chairs to the dirty floors, shower (mildew on tile), vent fan in the bathroom and sheets on the bed! There is junk all over the side of the house. When we arrived there were dishes in the sink and... More

A perfect getaway filled with breathtaking views, peace and tranquility, delicious breakfasts, friendly innkeepers who couldn't do enough for us and our yellow lab. An extra bonus was that we could bring him! Plenty to see and do in the area - or, nothing to do but lounge by the pool or on the shady porch. Excellent restaurants. Don't leave... More

First and Foremost the Website for the Glennwood Inn does NOT do it justice at all whatsoever. I'm a very picky traveler and photos usually mean ALOT to me and reviews so when I saw no reviews and not the greatest photos, this was a RISK.. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE. Great views by the Pool., Great Pool. Excellent INN, very... More

Glenwood House is a very special place. Andrea, the innkeeper, is a kind, generous, wonderful person who takes the time to really welcome her guests. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. The pool is a real welcome to the summer heat and we had a wonderful relaxing weekend swimming, hiking, and picking berries in the area. My daughter who... More

The website was misleading - their hot tub was broken and there was no fireplace in our room, as advertised. Our whirlpool bath barely had enough hot water to be filled. The Innkeeper was extremely scattered and slightly stressed out, which didn't create for much of a pleasant environment, although we could she she was trying... and talking a lot.... More

The Glenwood House exceeded our expectations. The accommodations in this storybook Victorian mini-manse were impeccable. From rich, luxurious bedding to the robes waiting in our mammoth master bath, Innkeeper Andrea Colman has attended to every detail one might hope for when planning a romantic weekend in the country. In the morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the beautifully decorated... More

My wife and I just stayed at the Glenwood House B&B for her 30th birthday and really had a spectacular experience. Both with the B&B and the area itself. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the innkeeper Andrea, treated to coffee and cookies and given helpful information on the area, restaurants, activities so we could enjoy the... More
