We've stayed here twice, and each time the owner was very friendly and welcoming. It's a good place to stay if your vacationing on a budget. The bathrooms were very clean in both the Anglers nook room and the Sunflower room.Which matters to me.Also if you poke around you can find some good magazines to read before bed. When we left, we... Owner said it was mosquito bites but it wasn't. At first I thought maybe but found what I thought was a tick. Later found... More

Stayed for one night while hiking in the Catskills and found the room to be very clean and fairly spacious for the cost. The motel is very conveniently located near most hiking and ski trails in the Catskills. Despite what some other reviewers said, I thought the requests to turn off the lights and turn down the heat when leaving... More

Try and get the lift tickets that the hotel offers. You can't beat $35 dollar lift tickets for Belleayre ski resort.

If you enjoy being insulted and berated, choose this as your desination. The rooms were actually nice and fairly well kept, but kimberly, the owner, is in the wrong profession. Last time I checked, motel patrons were considered as "guests" and should not be called names and be threatened while checking in and be harrassed throughout stay. Kimberly barged in... More

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Rates were reasonable. Motel had a "down home" atmosphere with "upscale" accomodations. I was totally relaxed.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nites during labor day. the owner, Kimberly, who is LOVELY, made an accomodation of the 3 day holiday rule, so that my husband and I could attend the Bellayre festival. We knew that it was going to be hard to find a place to stay labor day weekend, but Kimberly stayed in touch... More

I have been staying at the Cobblestone Motel for 3 years now and have stayed in 3 different rooms and each one has been a very clean country themed motel room. I love the one with a kitchonettes, they are worth the extra $ and there is even a 3 room cottage to stay in (have not stayed in it... More

Came up from NYC for a weekend of tubing in scenic Phoenicia NY & found the Cobblestone through a link from the Town Tinker tubing website. Very easy to get to & close to the heart of Phoenicia which is a cool little town. Though many have said mixed things about the owner Kim, she was very welcoming to us... More
