The staff at this hotel was very friendly! Accommodations were clean, but could use some updates. Grounds are beautiful and hotel layout is perfect for a conference. Continental Breakfast was good.

Guest service for night auditor was fantastic, as I did arrive very late. She was energetic, attentive, courteous. Upon entering the room, it wad very humid and musty. I located the thermostat and while attempting to adjust the temp, I was approached by a black spider with a white stripe down its body. After killing the spider, and checking my...

It was a pleasure meeting you and would like to appologize once again for your experience during your stay with us. I am happy to have been able to offer you another guestroom, one of which was to your satisfaction but also understand how important a first impression is to our guests and unfortunately we failed in that aspect. We...

What more can you ask for from a resort. Yes it's a conference center, that you wouldn't even be aware of unless you were there to attend a conference because the facilities are designed to separate the areas. The surroundings would make any resort proud. The dining options are pricey, but for a Sunday buffet with a swan pecking at...

I've stayed here often, and find the other reviews interesting.
First of all, it's a corporate conference center, not a hotel. (If you want a quick hotel stay in the area, try the Orangeburg Holiday Inn.). It's really not designed for the casual traveller, and definitely not designed for kids.
Having said that, if you are in the area and...

Stayed a Sunday night with my spouse, Beautiful grounds. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Furnishings show signs of wear and could use an update. We had a problem with the toilet not flushing properly and it took almost 40 minutes for a maintenance person to come to fix it. Meanwhile, we couldn't use it and had to wait around and...

I checked into the hotel, only to be told that my children would not be allowed in the pool. As a business traveler, this may be good news - but as a business woman traveling on the weekend with my two kids -- this was a shock!
Even worse - no manager on duty to discuss it with - after...

We stayed there on a business trip. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very nice - clean and well-appointed; down comforter, etc. It was a long long walk to our room, that was about the only downside. The rates were very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. NIce amenities; pool, health club, etc. The parking lot is somewhat...

No mistake, the surroundings are pretty -trees, ponds, swans. Town is cute. However, the finishings are out of date. The carpets are dirty. The wireless is spotty (spotty wireless for a computer company!!). The bar closes at 10 (really) .The place felt like a prison. Recommend to choose somewhere else.
The Dolce Palisades on Route 9 in Palisades, NY, is an alternative to other chain hotels that travelers might not think to consider. Although primarily a conference center, it's open to individual travelers and at $129 a night was less expensive than some other chain hotels in the area that I priced for the time of my stay.
It's apparent...

Just stayed here for a week for meetings with IBM and was surprised at how run down the property was. There was gum or something else stuck in the carpet, grease on the bed ruffle (I don't even want to know how it got there), and scuff marks all over the wall. In addition, the veneer on the furniture was...
