There were alumni gatherings that weekend. Our room was on a floor with all night partiers in the hallway. We tried to call security around 2am but discovered that none of the room phones (3) were operational. We called the front desk with our cell phone. The noise did not subside until around 4am. We were exhausted the next day.

The location of the hotel is perfect for a college visit. The hotel is right near main street, but main street needs some improvement. Many of the shops are not open and the rest are mainly thrift shop. There was a nice bookstore attached to a cafe with good food. A lot of businesses are closed on Mondays and restaurant... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here to go to a wedding in Gilbertsville and had an amazing time! The night auditor Dave was delightful. We checked in at 12:30am and he couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful with late night directions to Wal-Mart. The rooms were spacious and clean and the spa in the bathroom was a really nice... While my son was attending the Cooperstown Village All Star camp for a week, we stayed here for about five days. The hotel is well maintained, a bit dark, so it looks drabbier on inside than it probably is. But, it isn't a bad choice for those who don't want to stay in Cooperstown, it was convenient to the camp.... More

My husband and I were traveling to Vermont for family get together. We are from Wv. we had been traveling for some hours and were looking forward to a relaxing evening. I have a theory about hotels if the entryway is dirty when you walk in more than likely the rest of the hotel will be the same. This Clarion... More

Over the last year, I've stayed in the Clarion, the Holiday Inn and the Hampton Inn. These are the three higher end chain hotels in Oneonta. The are all perfectly adequate for any traveller, including families, but they each have different amenities that may suit your needs. The Clarion has an indoor pool and is located downtown near shops, bars... More

I would give 3.5 stars if I could. I had a work function in Walton the day after my stay and was coming from Rome, so this seemed like a good place to stop. The check in process was relatively painless, and I was happy that I got a room with a jacuzzi tub after a lot of driving! The... More

The hotel is impressive. Nice lobby, nice rooms, nice looking. The service? Not so nice. Both of the front desk people were either disinterested or downright rude. Example, my kids and I were in the pool and there were no towels in the pool area. Dripping wet, I went to the front desk to request towels. Deskguy said he'd get... More

The room was nice and clean and the hotel staff was friendly. However, that area of downtown Oneonta is pretty depressing making the price out of this world. Although I love baseball, we were not there for one of the many summer tournaments run nearby. They are clearly taking advantage of the fact that there are very few places to... More
