“Best campground in NY!!!!”

We've been coming here for over 10 years. Campsites are a good size and flat. Also the cottages and cabins are clean and some have nice views of the lake. Nice little beach for swimming and fishing. We have been to Old Forge Campground every weekend last summer and cant wait to return again this year.. One of the main reasons we go is to see the bears and other wildlife that is present there.. We normally tent but will also get cabins or cottages.( mostly tent in summer)... we have NEVER had issues with any bears... More

My family loves to camp. We always go to old forge camping resort because, it's excellent! Great things for the kids and adults to do! The workers are very nice and hard working! They treat you like they would treat their own family! If you are considering camping here, you really need to! You won't regret it!!!:)

With the amount of snowfall this year, we have had some minor issus with 4 wheel drive vehicles. If the reservation is taken over the phone, we are able to ask about 4 wheel drive and snowmobile trailers.... More

“Cottages need new mattresses”

We stayed in a cottage which were very cute and overlook the lake. The only problem I had were the mattresses were so thin I felt like I was just sleeping on the wooden slats of the bunkbeds. Next time I would bring a blowup mattress and use that on top of it!
