Not sure what all the poor reviews are about recently. I must admit I have served in the army so any room with a bed and pillow is considered a luxury. However you can't expect a Ritz Carlton if your not paying for it. Large room, fast wireless and home like feel.

We stayed recently and enjoyed our stay immensely. The service was excellent and the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful, and had a charming accent! The room was in the Shoreside Hotel by the marina and was clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable! Breakfast was included, good value and plenty of it! Recommended.

I stayed recently, while the grounds are beautiful as is the view, the rooms are old, ours (king size bedroom) overlooked the river. Mismatched broken coffee pot after asking for it and being told they might be able to rummage one up, dirty bedding and old tampon and pregnany test wrappers under sink. GROSS !!!

This place was very reasonably priced and great view of the St. Lawrence. However, it is SPIDER infested!!!!!!!! For those that freak out on the critters..go elsewhere. We have stayed here several times when it was owned by the original owners, the Larose Family, and the resort was beautiful and very well run and maintained....not so now.
