Worth a visit. Great atmosphere, well designed rooms, pleasant owners with good stories. You domhave to brave hard mattresses And the odd cold shower, but we say it's definitely worth it.

I spent a wonderful few days here towards the end of last year and have such great memories. Sue and Robbie and family were fantastic hosts and made me feel very at home. I stayed a couple of days in Casa colonial with my brother on our way to Santo Antao. We loved the place. Very nice rooms, beds and beautiful house! Sue and Robbie were very welcoming and gave us all the advice we needed. I recommend Casa Colonial!

The setting was ok, service was ok, WHEN somebody was around (mostly not). We had to wait twice for a closed door. Furthermore it was very noicy and highly overrated
