I stayed here on my second trip to Grand Popo with a group of students studying abroad. There are a range of rooms, from small cottages with two stories (upper one being a loft) to more basic rooms with a pair of double beds. The best part was the fishing village near the resort, watching them go out in the morning and come back in the afternoon. The food was good. The electricity went out both nights but they had lanterns readily available.

It was like an oasis in the middle of the poorness. Since we were working the whole week at a hospitalship and were around so many sad things, it was so good to have at least a few days to forget about the poorness and sickness.

Perfect place if your looking to get away from all the madness around you! Definitely going back there
