Classy Place We came to the Giacomo for our honeymoon and we were SO pleased with our choice. What a classy and beautiful and historic building. The room is much more interesting than a generic Sheraton or Holiday Inn. The furnishings are modern and attractive. We were given a corner room, so we had light and cross-ventilation from the many... More

I hate to be a downer, but anyone who has stayed here and calls it a five star hotel has clearly never stayed at a five star hotel. For the price, it is just fine, but not a five star hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely designed, but other than that it was just a place... More

we stayed 2 nights in this fantastic hotel. The room was quiet, spacious, cool, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The service was fantastic and and breakfast was great. The area near the hotel is run down but so close to the falls, we walked a lot. The limo was fine and took us everywhere with a lot... More

We had a very nice stay at the Giacomo. Nice designed rooms, but why all the fire extinguish tubes? Industrial look?;) Bed was very nice. And a great bathroom and shower. Good service at check in. Good included breakfast. Nice 360 degree view from top floor lounge. American side Niagara Falls (village) is not very lively, Canadian side is better, but... More

I just got back from a weekend anniversary getaway to Niagara Falls and I liked this place so much I had to review it right away. I divided our time in Niagara between the Canada side & New York side, so we stayed at the Sterling Inn and the Giacomo, both number #1 on their respective sides. Both were very... More

We just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. After looking at quite a few hotels both on the Canadian AND US side, I kept getting drawn to The Giacomo! It seemed to have everything we wanted, free parking, internet, breakfast, as well as the courtesy shuttle service, of course the chocolate and cookies were a plus too! From the moment we... More

This Boutique hotel as they style themselves has very comfortable rooms with high ceilings tastefully decorated with first class furnishings. Free wifi everywhere in all bedrooms, reception area and 19th floor lounge. The helpful staff will park your car and take you anywhere in town with no extra charge. They will also recommend good eating places. What a change from... More

Spent 3 days with there with our Dentist and his wife, who were visiting from South Africa. From booking in, to checking out , the stay was an AWESOME experience. The room was more than comfortable. From the chocolates, to the robes and wonderfully comfortable bed, ,just stunning. There is always a BUT, and ours was the shower water pressure. With all... More

Choosing The Giacomo for my very short stopover in Niagara Falls during my tour of the US was a no brainer as it was rated as the top hotel in Niagara Falls on TripAdvisor and I got an excellent rate since it was in February. The room was definitely a big difference compared to the rooms I stayed in Boston... More

My boyfriend and I recently went to the Moody Blues concert at Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls. Rooms at the Casino were booked so we took a chance on the Giacomo which is within walking distance of the concert venue. An absolutely fabulous European-style hotel! The rooms are spacious, attractively decorated, have original art on the walls and a... More
