You can't ask for a nicer location on the beach on Long Island. Sad to say that's the only good part. The partial sea view studio rooms look as though they were done in 1960 and left untouched. cannot say enough how wonderful everyone at Gurneys was. The spa and pool alone worth going for. Location , location , location on the beach. One of the best vacations I have ever had. However was there off season so cannot say what it is like with tons of people.

We just had our wedding there and everything couldn't have been more perfect. The staff of Gurney's did a great job of making our big day go perfectly. The wedding coordinator, John, answered all of our questions and was very helpful. They even had rose petals and two swans made from towels placed on our bed on our wedding night.... More

I booked 2 nights at Gurneys on the off-season rates. Beware....if you spend $500 a night in high season...you will be outside the managers office more than enjoying the facility.
