We spent 2 nights in this hotel for our daughter's graduation at SUNY Cortland. While we did book late and prepaid in full, I explicitly asked Expedia to accommodate our request of a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, we got a smoking room which had such a terrible odor. When we returned home yesterday, I have had to take everything we brought... More

I stayed at the Days Inn while driving home for the holidays because it's so convenient to 81S and it accepts pets, so my dog could come home, too. I checked in close to midnight and was planning on sleeping until 10:00 a.m. because I'd been driving for so long and check-out wasn't until 11:00 a.m. The room was spotless... More

Economically priced for an older "typical" small town hotel. Clean and friendly staff. Very convenient to all small towns in area. 15-25 mins of gorgeous drives. Cortland is really a lovely older town with many new amenities. breakfast was basic - bananas, apples, juice, coffee, toast, bagels and some sugary pastries. Yes it is a small eating area - but... After a terrible stay at Days Inn Binghamton the night before, my family stayed here after dropping my son off to college at Cornell. I was so relieved that the Inn was clean. The rooms were roomy, we had 2 queens, (average comfort beds) and the wireless internet was free and easy to use. Breakfast in the morning found plentiful... More

While the pet fee was a little high at $20, at least it was not only pet friendly but had parking for tractor-trailers. The check-in was quite and the personnel was very courteous and made sure I got the best discount they could offer. We got a room with the king-size bed but what a surprise! The room was unusually... Set aside that Cortland is yet another dead town in central New York, and as a result lodging is at a premium. This dump is likely the bar that others in the area set for themselves. It is old. Cigarette smoke oozes through the hallways. The hallways are dank (i always wondered when I would use this word), the rooms... More

We stayed here for my son's graduation. The overall condition of the hotel was fine and the rooms were very clean. We encountered no problems during our stay. My only complaint was that the price of $135 per night was a little high but since it was graduation weekend I guess you would expect prices to be higher than normal.

Myself and my wide stayed here in May 2011 for what was supposed to be 5 nights, after 2 nights we left. The first room we stayed in was right beside the laundry room so we were woken from 6am listening to the cleaners talking and washing machines spinning, afer complaining to the extremely rude man at the desk we... Thank you for your response. You stayed with us last year in May 2010 and not this year. After learning of this incident, we had the entire room inspected by our pest company and did not find a single bed bug in the room. I do apologize for the staff behavior. Also, we refunded you for your entire stay for... More

I was visiting Ithaca and stayed at this hotel as there were no vacant rooms in the city proper. Although it was a bit far from the city, it was easily accessible, and I had no problem getting back and forth. The hotel was clean, but there was a pervasive odor of Indian cuisine in the lobby and hallways. The... More

I needed to visit my daughter who attends SUNY Cortland and due to a major football game I needed to pick a place a bit further away then I normally would. With the bedbug scare going on, I spent a long time researching if this or any other nearby hotels had been reported. Upon arrival, I was quickly checked in... More
