We stayed at the Hotel Vetiver the weekend of May 19th and the good points are its great location near the subway, very comfortable queen sized beds and reasonable price in comparison with other hotels. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a good job. The not-so-good: we arrived late in the afternoon and found not 1 but 2... More

Hello, I'm very happy to hear the upside of your stay but deeply apologize for the inconvenience that some of our staff members could have caused. We are young pair from Tallinn stayed at Vetiver Hotel in April 2012 for 9 nights. We loved service, location, room, our 6th floor and balcony with a nice view, possibility to order food from delivery (thai, chinese, mexican coucine etc) - for 10-max 20 mins you get your food. And the metro station in 3 mins walk. Wish good... More

Hotel Vetiver is not really big but is really new. Part of it is still under construction but the rooms are well designed. The bed is queen size and the furniture is new. In my room there was also a kitchenette. We used it to have breakfast. You can buy groceries just beside the hotel. The surroundings are poor but... More

The day I arrived at the vetiver hotel, I was tired from an over night bus trip. My son, and I walked from Port Authority bus station to the vetiver, and I was really hoping they'd give us our room, even though checking at 3:00, and we were there at 7:00am. To my surprise the young girl at the front... More

Hotel Vetiver is a Gorgeous Hotel!!! When I booked the hotel of course I read the comments and looked at the pictures. I must say that I did love the pictures and some of the reviews were both great and ok. The rooms are huge, the pictures do not show the hotel justice. You have to stay here to know... More

Stayed at the Vetiver 14th to 19th March 2012. We stayed in Penthouse Apartment 702. The hotel was located 1 block from the metro line, the staff were really wonderful, our room initially lacked basic amenities like cups plates, cutlery etc., but this was soon addressed with no issues. The hotel is not quite completed as yet with the coffee... More

i've stay in the NY metro area 3 times a year for the past 5 years. The accessibility of this hotel is #1. Its only one block from the subway which makes it much more accessible to times square & midtown Manhattan than many other the other options. The front desk people were very helpful. It didnt really make a... More

Room was lovely and clean, plenty of space. Very comfy bed and large shower in bathroom. However, no fridge or wardrobe which I thought was a bit odd. Also, security safe wasn't very secure, could easily pick up the safe as it wasn't glued/nailed down to anything. Hotel not fully complete yet as there are still some builders/decorators in doing... It was nice and very close to subway station directly to Times Sq. 10 min ride only and the entry was 200 meters from Hotel front entrance. Nice and quite regular working class area. Some good delis around and I can defintly recommend the breakfast sandwiches with turkey bacon at nearby Zante's. Great start to the day. The area is... More

This is a brand new hotel in Queens, literally 1 block from the N train subway (which goes right into Manhattan). The room and bathroom were huge by NYC standards, and featured a small refrigerator and a 2-burner stove but oddly, no microwave. There is no restaurant/breakfast, unlike other hotels in this neighborhood, but right down the street by the... More
