My friend and I enjoyed three nights at this very homey hostel. Centrally located outside of Lake Placid proper, it is clean, quiet and has extremely knowledgeable and approachable owners. I look forward to staying again.

It was a bit unbelievable. I've never stayed anywhere quite like it. My room had: Huge house flies (in the winter!). I had to request flypaper. The door had no deadbolt.
