It's quite some drive from the Caprivi-strip main-road but we liked it. The road was under construction then, guess it is better accessible now. We've been there in low-season and staff was -though friendly- probably new, as very little experienced, like oddly shy. We asked to see a few rooms to get one with best riverview. The rooms are nice,... More

The lodge is down a 24km road from the main highway - a good place to stop if driving through the Caprivi Strip. We showed up late evening, unannounced, during low season and the staff looked after us very well. They had closed the kitchen but reopened to make us dinner. The room was large, clean, and very thoughtfully designed... More

We really enjoyed the campsite. We could use the pool, etc, and as not all lodges allow that we thought it was nice. We had a small child and the staff loved him - very friendly and giving towards him. Boating trip with Alfred was nice and affordable too (some drinks and food plate included, which we hadn't realized). The... More

Under new management this lodge is coming back to their further level. The campsites are nicely made. There is no electricity around what makes the place more back to the nature. Elephants can join the camp during the night what is a great adventure as well. I really can recommend this lodge as a place to stay while travelling through... More

We spent two nights in one of the lovely rooms, with balcony overlooking the Kwando River. For us the bedside reading lamps could be improved upon, as well a hand rail for getting in and out of the deep sunken shower. The lodge and gardens are very neat and tidy, very peaceful and service excellent, as is the food. Top... More

An excellent venue to camp with very good rates. Grass covered camp sites, well partitioned, with "Donkeys" for hot water, electrical points at the sites, a view of the Kwando river and the sound of snorting Hippos throughout the night. Choose from about 12 to 15 campsites. The current Manager, Juan I think and a German Poppie (She's nice!) as... More

Instead of going on a game drive and boat trip, the manager arranged for us and our guide to go on a fishing trip instead which lasted 5 hours, what a great time we had, and we all caught fish which our guide cooked that night, the restaurant staff were very accommodating. We stayed there for 2 days and had... More

the lodge is situated on the water in a very quiet area. Reception with a refreshment was very welcoming. The lodge itself looks great in superb African style. The room was good with a nice en suite. The lodge gave the impression of a nicely and elaborately built place that has become run down during the past time. Because of a very enthusiastic recommendation of friends that had stayed at the lodge last year, we spent 2 days at Namushasha and were very disappointed by the service of most of the staff. The guides of the boat... More

Thank you very much for the feedback. We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. The Lodge has been taken over by Gondwana Collection Namibia at the end of 2011 and the process of a soft revamp is still ongoing. We passed your critisism on to the lodge management so that they can improve the service. Our cook... More
