We came to Tineghir from tents on the Sahara, so this hotel seemed relatively luxurious. The hotel is built at the top of the highest hill in the city. Many rooms, mine included, offer a terrace with terrific views of the city center below and the oasis created by water flowing down from the High Atlas Mountains. My room was... More

This hotel had a good location up a small hill about 5 min from the main street. The rooms were quite basic but very clean with great balconies giving great views. The pool area was also great but March is a bit chilly to be swimming.

This hotel reminded me of the good old days Rusia was still the USSR. All that can be broken, was broken, such as toilet, bath, curtains, television, doors etcetera. And the furniture and decoration was exactly like in the fifties. No problem, but don't call yourself a four star hotel, when you can't meet that standard. And worse, instead of... More

The rooms were the usual Moroccan clean-meaning they don't bother with walls and corners, places you don't touch directly. The beds were ok. I had a nice view out of my room of the deserted kasbah next door. The main people were not that friendly, but the guy that does all the work, like getting a light bulb, carrying luggage... More

The walls were beyond paper thin and you can hear entire conversations from the next room. There were numerous power blackouts while we were there, but I'm not sure if this is an ongoing problem or not. There was hot water but a dodgy showerhead. There were delicious freshly made pancakes at breakfast but dinner was bland. The beds were... More

Painted entirely in pastel colors and light at heart, I found this hotel to be rather charming, one of my favorite places on our trip. Others might say it's a little dated, but I guess it depends on your perspective. The view is spectacular and is worth the stay on its own, but I really liked pretty much everything about... More

We did overnight at this hotel on our way to Skoura, from Merzouga. Objective was to break the long drive and visit the nearby Todra Gorge. Which by the way in the most scenir of the two Gorges. The hotel is located on a hilltop with amazing views over town. You can also ask a room with a view. We... More

Stayed here with OAT Travel in March 2009. It would have been a good review but...We checked in early as my 90 year old father was sick. Within five minutes of checking in to his room, one of the hotel staff had stolen his wallet from the bathroom, it contained several hundred dollars and IDs and credit cards. It was... More

After one night at another hotel in Tinerhir, I changed to this hotel and I was delighted to get a clean room in a hilltop location with a great view. Even though the heating in the room didn't keep what the receptionist promised, it was ok. Dinner was unremarkable but still better than at the other hotel in town. A... More

You can't beat this hotel for its position - in the centre of Tinerhir and on top of a hill with panoramic views over the town and the amazing oasis. But don't be fooled by this romantic description as the rooms are very average, although clean, and the restaurant is almost constantly booked by large tour groups eating more or... More
