For around 60% of the price of other good accommodation in Ndola, Mukuba Hotel manages to provide the same level of service. Also, it is unique in Ndola for its airport transfers - they are always there on time unlike other hotels that require a freindly reminder some time after a desperate search of the airport car-park. The food is... More

Our only real complaint about Mukuba is it's distance to town - we were glad to have our own transport. However with Jacaranda Mall open if you don't need to be in the centre of Ndola this is a great hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable, fridge a bonus. This is northern Zambia so if you are expecting five star luxury... More

Ndola is not the garden center of Africa, so you shouldn't expect a 5 star resort. The Mukuba Hotel is quite good, with excellent service and basic but clean rooms. The hotel staff is eager to help. When a plumbing problem in my room caused an issue, they moved me immediately to another room without a hassle. The breakfasts are... More

Given the fact that this is Africa,NOT the USA or Canada, this is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are very clean, the staff is friendly. the only distraction is the screeching peacocks all hours of the day and the less than North American standard beds (saggy mattress. BUT, for Africa truly first class! Wifi is available in the lobby and... More

Stayed in room 206 for more than a week it sufficiently comfortable and looks out over a small lemon orchard. The hotel is arranged around a quad with three attractive ponds in the quadrangle. The room is faces the generator is on that side ( they have un-interrupted power) one evening we had the drone of the generator (small price... More

I realize it's Zambia, but I didn't appreciate the sagging mattress, mosquito net that barely covered the mattress, lack of water pressure that made it impossible to shower, and poor food quality. Oh, and lets not forget the screeching peacocks that screech all night long! Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.

Garden, Impala, frogs, peacocks and friendly staff, what more could one say? Breakfast good, other meals less so. The steaks are almost shoe leather. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything worked except the toilet flush. Fortunately the cistern could be filled via the flexible shower hose.. For Africa, quite acceptable.

There is nothing that really stands out about the hotel except for excellent breakfast! The rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean. The bathrooms are average, however the shower attachment was not great, as it was a press button type shower head which only operated when pushed down, but since the cold water pressure was so high, there... Good side: nice and helpful staff, we were using the pool at 9pm and they turned the lights for us! , room quality and cleanliness is also good. They have impalas within the property. Breakfast was very good. Bad: peacocks are nice but noisy.

The peacocks and frogs are a nice touch but they are very noisy during the night. The food isn't that great, I'd stick with the African dishes if I were you, but the breakfast is just about okay. The best thing about the hotel is that it's not nearly as bad as a lot of the others in Ndola. It... More
