Based on a friend's suggestion, we booked 2 nights at The Oaks. What a wonderful place. Richard, our host is easy going, very friendly. He is always in the kitchen preparing food. Excellent breakfast. one huge rec room with pool table. Another reading room with wood panel and fireplace. Will definitely return in the future.

We had a wonderful time at The Oaks. Richard greeted us at the door and took excellent care of us. The B and B was spotless and the beds Wonderful! My husband was able to watch the baseball playoffs in a comfortable sitting room. The breakfast was outstanding. I would highly recommend The Oaks!

This B and B is beautiful! My husband and i stayed there as a mini vacation away from our kids. The bed was very soft and comfy. The whole place was clean and tastefully decorated! Thumbs up for Them!

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in the Rose Room. Richard is a terrific host. The old mansion is wonderful and true to its original architecture. The food was scrumptious and plentiful. They accommodated our every wish. We plan to stay there whenever we return to Jamestown.
