Zambezi Breezers! What a wonderful place. We have seen other lodges in Zambia, a lot more luxury, but Zambezi Breezers is unique, because of the personal and fantastic management. Anne Marie is a very nice person and very helpful. The tents are are very special. They are “breezy” – you can open them to all sides and you can feel... More

Rating Breezers is an issue as its not one of the plethora of 5 star lodges that charge a fortune! Put it this way, value for money, certainly a great deal. Food is excellent and service right up there. Never been out fishing and come back without a fish! There aren't enough places like Breezers in Zambia. Its a great... More

We stayed at Zambezi Breezers for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. We drove up there with our own (rental) vehicle so we camped right on the waterfront where we could hear the hippo's and crocs walking around. The bar and restaurant are nice and you can have a drink at the terrace which overlooks the Zambezi river. They... More

A bunch of volunteers (i specify this because it was affordable as well) travelled to Lower Zambezi and decided on Breezers for accommodation and I can say we were not let down. We decided on Breezers though some friends said they were bored there but I guess it's more about what one wants from a holiday. Though its an angler... More

This is the only place to stay on the Lower Zambezi for us. We live in Lusaka, so it is close. Phil and Anne Marie have always catered to us, and gone out of their way to make our stay the best. Can't wait to go again.

We booked this wee lodge (mainly used by anglers) as a base for a UK-Zambia-South Africa research project we are doing on Zambian river ecology, for 11 people in our group, for 5 days in June 2010. Anne Marie and her team looked after us extremely well, the location is superb, food and bar are great and if you need... More

We stayed two nights, coming and going on canoe trips on the Lower Zambezi; excellent both times. The food was excellent, area was quiet, and the staff helpful.
