we did have a wonderful and relaxing mini-vacation at Harbor Knoll...just what we expected. the intimate beachfront with lounge chairs was perfect and quiet. we even had the opportunity to utilize the dock - we were picked up by cousins also staying the weekend at the marina just a stone's throw away. we were able to walk to all restaurants... The room ($350 per night) was,despite the site photos, terribly small and confining, the bed's mattress was uncomfortable, the music/noise from the nearby dockside bar was very loud (from midnight to 3am), the daily breakfast was middling, and we felt that staying here was a missed opportunity given how infrequently we stay in the North Fork.
