Third leg of our trip in the Seychelles Island, we had 2 nights booked in this hotel, or bungalow villages. Kind receptionnist, but the bungalow (Hibiscus I) was in a bad need for a renovation ... the bathroom was "very 70s or early 80s".... I wont mention the stains on the wall (mildew?) and on the sheets. The bikes (8€... More

I read the review of the last reviewer and must say that I think he/she is definitely underestimating this hotel. I also stayed here this August and: 1) this is La Digue: do not go to this small island and expect to find Mahe Hilton type of hotels. Like they say of Seychelles, each island is 10 years behind the... More

We stayed at the Patatran 6 days. Good location for the view, bad location if you want to be close to the beach. You cannot move without a bicycle (8€ per day and only 2 on around 20 were women suitable) and it takes around 30 minutes to go to Anse Source d'Argent. Forget the pictures shown on the official... It was my favorite place on the island because of its location. Perched on a hill with ocean views, the cool breezes were so relaxing. The waves breaking on the small beach were a little rough, but once you swam out a little, there was good snorkeling with colorful fish and turtles everywhere. The rooms were clean but I thought... Don't get me wrong; I loved every minute of our stay at Patatran Village, or Patatran Hotel as the sign outside the entrance to the main building says. The surroundings are just pure magic. When we first saw the view from our balcony, it was simply breathtaking. Anse Patate (a small beach) right outside the window, with the whitest sand... More

Loved the location of the hotel - perched above a dramatic beach - very photogenic. The main building of the hotel is attractive & well maintained & the staff are very freindly & helpful but we felt that a little more care & attention was needed. The pool which could be superb, was dirty & the paint had all peeled... More

Hotel is just a stonethrow away from the ocean waters of north La Digue - a great chilled island. You live in hotel rooms which are all separate in bungalows "glued" on the coast rocks. Great views from the private balcony. Breakfast was great, lunch we had in a pizzeria in the village and for dinner we recomend the nearby... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights as part of our first trip to The Seychelles. We had a superior room, which was a decent size, and had a fabulous view of the Indian Ocean. The room was in need of refursbishing, although the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. Although the room... More

My wife and I stayed at Patatran Village from March 11th to 15th. Patatran Village has an entirely new central building (dating from October 2006) with the usual facilities and an open dining room close to the ocean. We were there on half board. The rooms for the guests are individual buildings on the slope close to the central building.... More
