My wife and I stayed at Garrison House this past weekend during a weekend getaway. The house itself was beautiful and well maintained and clean. The staff was awesome, even offering to go out of their way for us when they thought we might need it, and very friendly. We got their special Valentines Sweetheart Package, which included dinner and... More

My wife and I attended a reunion at West Point and, as usual, wanted to stay at a B&B. We have stayed at two otyher B&Bs in the area and have enjoyed them...the Garrison House was a shock! They had no record of our reservation that was made two months earlier. I woke the Innkeeper from her nap by banging... More

The management couldn't be bothered to answer our questions, couldn't be bothered to return our call. Our room and bathroom were FILTHY, the bath rugs, runners on the steps looked like they had not been vacuumed or washed for years!! I felt as if we all had bed bugs by the time we left.

The bathroom was dirty with hair and dried makeup in the sink. There were cobwebs in both the bathroom and our bedroom. The window air conditioner had broken so it was either full blast or not at all. Breakfast consisted of 2 day old rolls for 3 people and 3 cups of coffee. I'm told that there is a discount... More

First, this is a bed and 'continental' breakfast, with packaged croissants and day-old buns making up the majority of the meal. My family descended upon Garrison House for a nearby wedding, and in this case the loose management and disorganization worked in our favor: we were able to pretty much take over the entire house at will. The family upstairs... More

The closet in the red room is rather hard to latch shut. Every night I'd shove it so it would latch closed and every morning it would be standing open. I asked my daughter, who was traveling with me if she had come in and opened the closet. She said no. I never heard anything at night. Maybe its the... More

The Garrison House is an older home with historical value now operating as a B&B and gift shop. A tea room is also under development. After researching local hotels and motels, finding that anything with a decent rating was very expensive and everything else had poor ratings, I decided to give this B&B a try. There are a number of... More

This is a wonderful B&B close to West Point. Convenient to the academy and within the cadets walking previlieges. Owners are awesome and make every accommodation you may need. This B&B is also a historical site....
