Our site was fine for our one night stay. The area is old city like. The staff was friendly but and site was fine, close to the lovely river. They are doing a lot of work and it needs it. The only cottages we saw were very old. I did not see them in side but the other KOAs we... More

Our first experience at a KOA, and it was lovely. The new owners have been working hard on the sites and bathrooms as evidenced by all the new construction, work permits, etc. The kids had a ball and the sites on the river are just lovely.

We stayed here for the memorial day weekend. Check in was easy and they offered golf cart escorts to your camp site which was nice. Unfortunately the campground couldn't handle the increased electricity usage so we were out of power for most of the trip and they didn't even offer a refund of any kind for the inconvenience. If you... More

We stayed here the weekend after Labor Day and had a great time. The staff is incredibly friendly and there are several amenities. Many sites have water/electric hookups. There's also a swimming pool (unheated), recreation room with bingo and movie nights, hay rides, train rides (a truck converted to train), arts and crafts, store with all the basics, and the... More

If your coming for the heated pool, don't bother! Its either broken or wasnt turned on. So it was cold due to the weather and cool nights. Mist of the staff was either very nice. Only dealt with a grumpy older man and a young woman who seemed to rather be anywhere but there.

The new owners of this campground are making some dramatic improvements. First of all, this campground is now a KOA so they are required to have higher standards. I believe it was once the American Family Campground and it was very dilapidated. We stayed here mid-week (August 16, 17 and 18) and it was like a ghost town. There is... More

We stayed at the new Deerpark KOA for Memorial Day weekend. Our kids had lots of things to do; the hayride, fishing ponds, paddle boats, tubes down the neversink river and the huge jumping pillow! Just a little over an hour from the NYC. We will be back to this great family place.

We are currently relaxing at our site after a late campfire lunch. Hands down, the best family campsite I had ever been to. This includes other KOA sites in the area. Lots of fun man powered vehicles to rent, paddle boats, jump pillow (opened today),fishing, hiking, tubing (we can't wait to come back and do this when it's warmer), and... More
