My wedding was on May 12, 2012 in Garrison, NY, and my now-husband and I, along with most of our wedding party, took over the Pig Hill Inn for the weekend. I could not have been any happier with the property or with the service we received. All of the rooms were comfortable and unique, and the common areas were... More

Pig Hill Inn was a natural choice in Cold Spring, our launching pad for entry to Manhattan. After a peaceful night's rest and elegant breakfast in the greenhouse, we left this friendly and cozy country inn for the morning commute to Grand Central Station. Dave was the perfect host, hospitable and accommodating in countless ways. Leaving our car in safe... More

Second time staying at the Pig Hill Inn, and i must say it keeps getting better. From the cozy rooms (with wood burning stoves), to the decor, to the abundant breakfast, this place is always a winner. This time, as we were staying just one night and it was last minute, they waived the 2 night minimum. Such gracious hosts,... More

We chose Pig Hill Inn for our family get together for its location and charm and were delighted at how helpful Vera and Dave were to ensure that everything went smoothly including allowing us to use the breakfast room for an informal meeting after breakfast. Pig Hill is terrific and part of the appeal is Cold Spring offers so much... More

i've been staying at the pig hill inn for many years because it's close to the hudson valley shakespeare festival and is right in the town of cold spring. unfortuantely, we had to cancel our reservation this year because our friends needed only one night and the management doesn't allow that on weekends. when i called to cancel, the person... I'd heard about The Pig Hill Inn by searching B&B's and NYC. This came up and I fell in love. My husband and I went there for the weekend. The food is great, the rooms are comfortable and the people are nice. I've read reviews that say the Inn Keeper Dave is not friendly? He's a nice guy, just a... More

The Pig Hill Inn (and our overall visit and experience in Cold Spring) was spectacular. Every detail of the Vera's touch at the Pig Hill Inn was better than I could have imagined. I can't wait to return and try the experience in the warmer weather.

This place is absolutely adorable. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Tranquility room which had both an enormous King size canopy bed and jacuzzi tub. Breakfast, which they will bring to your room if requested, was wonderful as well. I'm not sure what some of the previous reviewers expected out of this place. It's a bed and breakfast in... More

Had expected sheer bliss after reading so many rapturous reviews of Pig Hill Inn, but maybe there are two Pig Hill Inns in Cold Spring! This was like Fawlty Towers - rude, weird, cold, disinterested innkeeper, who seemed almost resentful there were guests. Absolutely no trace of the "warm European hospitality" that crows from the brochures . Like something out... More

The Innkeeper, Dave, couldn't be nicer. The house, however, is both charming or shabby, depending on your point of view. I didn't mind it, but my wife wanted to leave as soon as she saw the room. Very, very dark and shabby. Too bad she plugged her power cord into a broken outline and sparks flew. One legit drawback for... More
