“Motel is extremely run down; owners are worse”

We have been travelling and staying in motels/hotels of all sorts as a family for the past 10 years. This was the very worst experience we have had. “The price is right”

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay and this fit the bill. This is an old style hotel / lodge. Small but nice room, parking, and an innkeeper who was available for a late night check-in. More than met my needs. Nice bar. Close to the Northway.

If all you want is a couple of decent beds, a cable TV and a bathroom, you will be OK. However, this place is an old, musty, dusty, beaten up inn. There is a pub in the basement and the cooking scents permeate the entire building structure. We checked in on St, Patrick's evening, and were greeted with the smell... More

The inn's owners are new and they seem to really take a liking to cleanliness. The place was spotless. The owners are friendly, but not overbearing, and they were very accommodating. The price is right. It is in the middle of a small town and there is a restaurant/bar attached to the inn, but it was quiet and very comfortable.... More
