Went for a romantic weekend and enjoyed the serene, peaceful setting. Staff was very attentive and helpful with making plans in the area and were quite accommodating as far as services within the Inn. Location was great, massages were fantastic! It was a very relaxing, romantic weekend.

A smashing hotel in the best location. Had a romantic weekend getaway in the Agatha Christie suite, room and staff was fantastic! The staff bent over backwards to arrange champagne, flowers, massage, wine, private dinner - everything I could have asked for. (Well I did ask for everything, and actually got it!) We just enjoyed a lovely weekend at the Spencer. The Innkeepers were gracious and most attentive. We stayed in the Collette suite and found it to be enchanting. A collection of the author's books were available which further enhanced the experience. Saw host one time at check in. We stayed one night. Were told breakfast was at 9:00 we got downstairs at 9:05 not a soul around, there was self serve coffee but no breakfast. Waited for 30 min not a soul. We packed our things and left...host was so scarce we did not even see anyone to check out. Refrigerator... More

We spent a weekend in Chautauqua and stayed at the Spencer Hotel. It's more of a bed and breakfast. The owners were extremely nice, very helpful, and friendly. We had a great stay at the hotel in the Agatha Christie! The help and innkeeper were friendly and helpful! My wife got a wonderful massage from their masseur, how she would highly recommend! We would definitely go back!
