If you judged this motel by its garish yellow sign while driving Route 28, you might pass it by. Don't. You'll miss out on an impeccably clean room--Victorian to the max--friendly owner, nice grounds, and an art (!) gallery, all at an impossibly low rate. A plus: many inns in the region require a 2-night stay; Trail Motel does not....
