I stayed at Orinda for an extended week visit and the atmosphere there is very relaxed and secluded. It feels kind of like you're living within a wildlife refuge with all the prairie dogs, magpies, hummingbirds, and the spectacular full open view of Taos Mountain to the northeast. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Orinda. John and Catherine are excellent hosts, and John fixed wonderful breakfasts. Our dog was welcome, as well.
