We booked here based on friends's recommendation, though dated. On our arrival we found the place to be in a bit of a shamble. We were the only ones staying here and the place was being sold to new owners on the day we were to depart. The fact that spring had yet to appear here was cause for some... More

We stayed at this wonderful Inn nestled in a very quiet residential neighborhood about a 15 minute walk to the Plaza during our two night stay in Taos. It is a beautiful place; very relaxing and tranquil. We were greeted and welcomed warmly by one of the Inn keepers who checked us in and showed us to our room several... More

We made last minute reservations to Casa de las Chimeneas and were so glad we did. The hospitality of the hosts Diana and Rosie were outstanding. Our room the Library was the best. This suite is part of the original home with all the character of an old southwestern hacienda. It has a living area, seperate bedroom and well appointed... More

This overpriced "inn" is a ghost town and seems like it is about to go out of business. The outdoor hot tub is "out of service" and steam shower in our room did not work. This is not to be expected in a room costing $329.00 per night. The grounds were in shambles and in need of attention. The night... More

We stayed three nights at this inn. We were upgraded to a larger room because of some noise that was coming from next door. We didn't really mind the noise, but the innkeeper noticed and volunteered to move us to another quieter room on the property. The hospitality was outstanding. We were constantly asked if they could do anything for... More

We were looking for a convenient place to overnight in Taos on our way from Santa Fe to Denver and this B&B was recommended. Due to the slow season we got a great last minute rate and it was terrific! The B&B itself was beautiful inside and out and our room was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer! The... More

My husband and I have stayed at Casa de las Chimeneas whenever we've had enough time to spend the night in Taos, and those visits have included the summer, fall and winter. Regardless of the time of year, it's such a lovely place to visit. Our experiences have been consistently positive--from the comfort of the beds, sensitivity to special needs,... More

My wife Lynne and I had our first trip to New Mexico and decided to stay at this B&B due to the reviews it received. We were not disappointed. From the first greeting from Rose (who also makes the most delicious gourmet breakfast's) to the very personable innkeepers of the B&B, Michelle and Brian (who were both very informative about... After traveling by train to Santa Fe, it was nice to finally get to Taos and this beautiful hotel. They have a full range of spa and massage services. The hotel is surrounded by tress and is 2 1/2 blocks from historic Taos Plaza.

This was our first trip to Taos and we loved staying at Casa de las Chimeneas! Our room, the Rio Grande, was lovely, comfortable, and well-stocked. The staff were most knowledgeable and gracious. We took their recommendations for nearby restaurants and side-trips and were very pleased with our experiences. Appreciated the on-site guest laundry and the complementary snacks. Homemade breakfasts... More
