Casa Benavides is a comfortable, convenient, bed and breakfast only a short walk from restaurants and The Plaza. Our room, Painted Desert, was large, nicely decorated, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was over-the-top. After being served and finishing yogurt, granola, fruit, juice and coffee, we were asked if we were ready for breakfast. Wow. The front office staff was... More

I lived in Taos from 1944 to 1963, but haven't been back for a long time. I knew hosts Tom and Barbara McCarthy when we were all young, but hadn't seen them for a half century. That said, I had heard glowing reports on their place from friends, and finally got to spend a couple of days there. What can... More

Our group of 25 attending a family wedding in Taos stayed in this beautiful b & b. Barbara has decorated the rooms in various themes. Every picture, painting, piece of woodwork throughout the complex has a story, which is gladly told. No two were identical. We stayed in the Acoma, adequate for a couple. The room adjacent to it is... More

My husband has stayed at this unique Bed and Breakfast with his quaterly business trips to Taos, NM for a couple years. This last time I got to go with him and I realized why he loves this property so much. The rooms are well decorated and appointed and we enjoyed the kiva fireplace in ours. The bed was very... More

The Mesa Verde room was really nice, and we were pleasantly surprised that the tile floors were heated! The room was beautifully decorated. I also loved the electric fireplace and the jetted bath! It was nice to help relax and thaw out after a day of snow skiing. The breakfast was good! Fruit, granola, and muffins...and I loved the eggs... More

My daughters and I stayed here on our recent ski trip. We were pleasantly surprised from the cozy rooms to the home made breakfast. The location is walking distance to the town center which has multible galleries and shops for shopping. Taos ski valley is less than a 30 minute drive from the b&b. We are looking forward to staying... More

Casa Benavides is unforgettable. From the warm blue and pueblo style exterior to the cosy and unique rooms, you really feel at home. The staff and owners are wonderful, and the breakfast is amazing, best muesli ever!

The breakfast was complimentary so I wasn't expecting much. I went to the dining room and was sat at a table with granola, yogurt, coffee, tea, a selection of muffins, milk, orange juice and sliced peaches. I was pretty stuffed after I finished when the sweetest woman in the world came up and asked me if I was ready for... More

After researching most of the hotels, inns and B&Bs in Taos we settled on Casa Benavides Inn based on other Trip Advisor reviews. We’re glad we did. We called the inn directly and booked the Acoma room located in a separate building from the main building. The room featured a queen bed and small patio. Our check-in with Tessy was... More

On October 14, 2012 my husband and I stayed in the "Cowboy Room" for one night. Nicely decorated and located in an old house just across the road from the Inn. The old house consists of individual theme rooms. This is just one of the properties that makes up the Inn. What I liked about our room is that we... More
